Alessi — PlateBowlCup AJM28/79 | Porcelain tea saucer

There is a particular quietness in certain white objects. Jasper Morrison's AJM28/79 saucer for Alessi belongs to that rare family of pieces that do not seek to impress, but to disappear into the gesture - supporting the cup with the silent precision of someone who knows their role. Made of pure white porcelain, with a fifteen-centimeter diameter that makes it well-proportioned without being austere, it is a disc of light placed on the table. Jasper Morrison designed the PlateBowlCup collection with a clear purpose: to restore the dignity of essentials to the table. No ornaments, no stylistic references, no nostalgia. Only the necessary form, stripped of every excess. Published as part of the "A di Alessi" line - the collection that the Italian company dedicates to the most rigorous formal research projects - this saucer is the result of a reflection on the bare minimum that only a designer of Morrison's stature could make so eloquent. At Stilmobili, we chose PlateBowlCup because we believe that a well-composed table is not built through spectacle, but through coherence. This saucer is designed for those who arrange a domestic space thoughtfully, for those who recognize the value of design even where the eye least expects to find it. It is ideal paired with the entire Morrison collection for Alessi, or as a refined contrasting element in a more elaborate table setting. Project notes: white porcelain, diameter 15 cm, weight 245 g.
