Alessi — PlateBowlCup AJM28/78 | White porcelain teacup

There is a disarming purity to Jasper Morrison's AJM28/78 cup for Alessi. Made of white porcelain, with a capacity of 20 cl and a diameter of 8 centimeters, this teacup does not seek to impress through ornamentation or formal gestures. On the contrary, it convinces through what it chooses not to say: no superfluous decoration, no emphatic curves, just the right form in the right place. Holding it in your hands has the quiet quality of an object that seems to have always existed. PlateBowlCup was born from the design vision of Jasper Morrison, one of the undisputed masters of contemporary design and the foremost interpreter of the movement he himself helped define as "super normal" — the aesthetics of the ordinary brought to its essential perfection. Developed for Alessi as part of the A di Alessi line, the collection reinterprets tableware in its most archetypal form: plates, bowls, and cups conceived as if they were being designed for the first time, freed from every unnecessary stylistic convention. At Stilmobili, we chose this cup because it represents exactly the kind of object we believe in: understated in form, radical in its coherence. It is ideal for those who live in contemporary spaces where everyday details are given the same care as a work of art, and for those seeking a moment of genuine, unostentatious quality in the ritual of tea or a long coffee. Design notes: glossy white porcelain, 20 cl capacity, 8 cm diameter. Part of the PlateBowlCup collection, A di Alessi line. Suitable for everyday use and dishwasher safe.
