Alessi — PlateBowlCup AJM28/76 | White porcelain coffee cup

There is a disarming purity to this coffee cup from the PlateBowlCup family: the porcelain is white, the shape is what a shape should be, nothing more. Eighty millilitres of capacity contained in a gentle cylinder six centimetres in diameter - a size designed for espresso, for the moment, for the pause that deserves attention. Holding it between your fingers is already an act of mindful design. PlateBowlCup was born from the mind of Jasper Morrison, one of the most influential British designers of his generation and a proponent of what he himself has called "Super Normal" - the aesthetic of an object that does not seek to astonish, but to be exactly what it is. Developed for Alessi as part of the "A di Alessi" collection, the project represents one of the clearest exercises in restraint applied to the table: plate, bowl, cup. Three archetypes. No decoration, no formal rhetoric. Only the quiet dignity of the right form. At Stilmobili, we chose PlateBowlCup because it embodies a vision of contemporary living that deeply resonates with us: that of those who know beauty does not shout. It is the perfect gift for those who love design without showing it off, for those who set the breakfast table with the same care they devote to choosing an interior design scheme, for those seeking objects designed to last beyond seasonal trends, while still being part - with a light touch of irony - of a spring/summer collection. Project notes: white porcelain coffee cup, capacity 8 cl, diameter 6 cm. Part of the "A di Alessi" collection, from the PlateBowlCup line designed by Jasper Morrison. Code AJM28/76.
