Alessi — PlateBowlCup AJM28/3826 | Jasper Mo porcelain salad bowl

There is a disarming purity in the white porcelain of this salad bowl: a form that asks for nothing, yet gives everything back. The broad, gently sloping rim, the absolute whiteness of the surface, and the generous capacity - 330 centiliters that welcome a summer salad or a fruit arrangement with equal grace - speak of an object designed to sit on the table without playing any role, yet dominating the scene with quiet authority. PlateBowlCup was created by Jasper Morrison, the British designer who made "super normal" an aesthetic philosophy and almost an ethical statement. Morrison believes that the best objects are those that go unnoticed, disappearing into everyday use until they become indistinguishable from life itself. This salad bowl - with its 26-centimeter diameter and deliberately elementary geometry - is a perfect synthesis of that idea: no ornament, no visible signature, just the right shape in the right place. At Stilmobili, we chose PlateBowlCup because it embodies a vision of living in which quality does not need to show off. It is the ideal piece for those who set a table with intention, who regard porcelain not as a festive accessory but as a faithful companion to everyday life. It naturally complements the rest of Morrison's Alessi collection, while engaging with equal elegance with handcrafted ceramics and crystalware from other worlds. Project notes: white porcelain, 26 cm diameter, 330 cl capacity. Part of the "A di Alessi" collection, spring/summer program. Dishwasher safe. A piece that does not age because it was never young: it has simply always been necessary.
