Alessi — Pianissimo ABI04 | 18/10 stainless steel basket

There is something almost musical about the name Abi Alice chose for this basket: *pianissimo*, the quietest dynamic marking in a score, one that asks the gesture to become light, almost invisible. And invisible, in a sense, is also the structure of ABI04 - a disc of 18/10 stainless steel with an extremely low profile, just 6.5 centimeters high, which settles onto the surface more like an echo than an object. Its 17.5-centimeter diameter allows it to hold things without ever appearing full, to bring order without demanding space. Abi Alice, an Australian designer with a studio in New York, brings to her work for Alessi a sensibility that oscillates between the formal clarity of Anglo-Saxon minimalism and a distinctly Mediterranean material poetry. ABI04 enters the Alessi collection with the lightness of someone who knows the difference between simplicity and banality: every curve is a decision, every reflection on the polished steel tells the story of the context in which it exists. At Stilmobili, we chose *Pianissimo* because it perfectly represents the type of object we look for: one that needs no explanation. It is ideal for those who set a table with precision, those looking for a desk organizer that does not compromise the room's design, and those who want to give something by Alessi without resorting to the obvious. A discreet presence that, over time, becomes indispensable. *Project notes:* 18/10 stainless steel, diameter 17.5 cm, height 6.5 cm. Weight 322 g. Alessi spring/summer collection.
