Alessi — Parmenide AARU01 R | Red grater with steel container

There is something surprisingly satisfying about the everyday act of grating: the rhythm, the aroma released, the silent accumulation of Parmesan snow. Parmenide transforms this moment into a small domestic ritual worthy of attention. The bright red thermoplastic resin body - a bold, almost pop red - embraces a functional, clean container, while the polished steel grating surface delivers precision and durability. A compact form, just 15 centimeters high, that occupies space with the quiet confidence of well-designed objects. Parmenide was created by Alejandro Ruiz, a designer active in the creative world of CSA - Centro Studi Alessi - the in-house laboratory that for decades has quietly incubated many of the brand's most beloved objects. The collection it belongs to is **A di Alessi**, one of the company's most consistent and enduring projects from Crusinallo: an alphabet of objects for the table and kitchen in which color is language, form is syntax, and everyday life becomes a story. At Stilmobili, we chose Parmenide because it perfectly embodies that borderland that belongs to us: between utensil and design object, between kitchen and dining room, between gesture and aesthetics. It is the ideal gift for those who love cooking without giving up beauty on the countertop, or for those seeking a vibrant splash of color on a carefully set table. Parmenide's red does not ask permission: it asserts itself. Project notes: thermoplastic resin and polished stainless steel - dimensions 15.3 × 7.5 × 6.7 cm - A di Alessi collection - design by CSA / Alejandro Ruiz - spring/summer program.
