Alessi — Ovale REB09/3 | Table knife by Bouroullec

There is something deeply Mediterranean about Ovale, a cutlery set that bears the name of the most ancient and harmonious shape there is. The REB09/3 table knife is made of AISI 420 stainless steel, an alloy selected for its hardness, corrosion resistance, and ability to retain its luster over time. In the hand, the cutlery reveals carefully calibrated balance, a profile that slips between the fingers without ever imposing itself - a discreet presence, unmistakable quality. Ovale was born from the collaboration between Alessi and brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, a French duo among the most influential figures in contemporary European design. The Bouroullecs have built their creative vision around the idea of objects that inhabit space naturally, almost as though they had always been there. With Ovale, they bring this philosophy to the laid table: no excessive formal gestures, no redundant decoration. Just the right curve, the right weight, and the 22-centimeter length that responds to ergonomics before aesthetics. At Stilmobili, we chose the Ovale collection because it embodies exactly what we look for when we talk about high-end tableware design: objects capable of conversing equally well with a raw linen tablecloth and collectible porcelain. This is cutlery for those who do not need to show off, but know how to recognize the difference. Ideal for anyone building a complete table setting with a long-term vision, or looking for a gift of absolute taste. Project notes: AISI 420 steel — length 22 cm — net weight 93 g — Alessi fall/winter collection — design by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.
