Alessi — Ovale REB09/1 | Bouroullec table spoon

There is a geometry of silence in well-designed things. Alessi's Ovale spoon belongs to that rare family of objects in which the form seems inevitable, as if it could not be otherwise. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, polished until it returns the distorted reflection of the person holding it, Ovale brings to the table a gentle tension between the purity of the line and the warmth of everyday gestures. The handle slips naturally into the hand; the bowl welcomes without excess. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec - the Breton brothers who redefined the vocabulary of European design between Paris and the world - designed this cutlery piece with the same poetic consistency that runs through all their work. Known for their ability to distill the essential without ever slipping into asceticism, the Bouroullec brothers bring to Ovale that quality typical of their work: the feeling that every millimeter has been carefully considered, and that the final result is, in some way, simpler than its design complexity. At Stilmobili, we chose Ovale because it represents exactly what we believe a design cutlery piece should be: not an object to display, but a tool to use every day with renewed pleasure. It is the right choice for those who want to create a cohesive table setting, where quality is measured in the imperceptible - in the balance between weights, in the temperature of the steel, in the sound it makes as it rests on the linen. Project notes: stainless steel 18/10 table spoon, length 20 cm, net weight 83 g. Part of the Ovale collection designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Alessi. Available to coordinate with the other elements of the service.
