Alessi — Nuovo Milano 5180S24 | 24-piece Sottsass stainless steel set 18/

There is something precise yet warm about holding a piece from the Nuovo Milano set: the weight of the 18/10 stainless steel settles naturally between the fingers, while the handle rests in the palm as if it had always been there. The lines are crisp, almost architectural, yet never cold. It is the hallmark dialectic of great Italian design: formal rigor that does not renounce the sensuality of the material. Nuovo Milano was conceived by Ettore Sottsass, a pivotal figure in 20th-century design, co-founder of the Memphis Group and one of the most original interpreters of the relationship between objects, culture, and everyday life. Created in collaboration with Alberto Gozzi, the set distills the Sottsassian lesson in its most restrained and enduring form: no gratuitous provocation, just the pursuit of a balance between function and visual identity that transcends the seasons without growing old. A design bearing the signature of someone who transformed the way we look at ordinary things. At Stilmobili, we chose Nuovo Milano because it represents exactly what we look for when selecting a tableware set: not a tool, but an object of silent conversation. It is ideal for those who set a table with intention - whether for an intimate dinner or a Sunday family lunch - and want every detail to contribute to the overall atmosphere. A sophisticated gift for weddings, new homes, or simply for anyone who wants to elevate the everyday ritual of a meal. Project notes: The set includes six table spoons, six table forks, six table knives, and six coffee spoons - twenty-four pieces in 18/10 stainless steel, a material chosen for its corrosion resistance and surface brightness. Net weight: 1.960 kg.
