Alessi — Nuovo Milano 5180/9 | Sottsass moka spoon 18/10

There is something profoundly ritualistic about the moka spoon. It is the smallest of table utensils, yet it touches the most intimate moment of the day: that of the little cup, the morning silence, the first thought still suspended. Alessi's 5180/9 interprets this gesture with the absolute simplicity of 18/10 stainless steel, polished to return crisp reflections and a hand that invites touch. Ten and a half centimeters of considered form, where nothing is accidental and nothing is excessive. Nuovo Milano was born from the vision of Ettore Sottsass, one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Italian design, co-designed with Alberto Gozzi for the Alessi catalog. Sottsass — founder of the Memphis group, creator of manifesto objects for Olivetti and for an entire generation of designers — brings his rare ability to this piece as well: turning the ordinary into a cultural act. The Nuovo Milano collection does not update flatware; it redefines it, seeking in the architecture of everyday gestures a visual grammar that withstands time. At Stilmobili, we chose this teaspoon because we believe that the quality of a table setting is also measured by the details held in your hand for just a few seconds. It is the ideal complement for those who have already chosen not to settle, for those who arrange a kitchen or dining room with the same care they use when choosing a sofa or a work of art. Perfect in a set of six or as a single purchase to complete an existing service. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, length 10.5 cm, net weight 18 g. Alessi Collection, spring/summer lineup.
