Alessi — Nuovo Milano 5180/5 | Sottsass fruit fork 18/10

There is a geometry of gentleness in the gesture of placing a fruit fork on the table. With Nuovo Milano, Ettore Sottsass translated it into 18/10 stainless steel: an alloy that is not content merely to be functional, but demands to be beautiful. The profile is slender and precise, with that quiet tension characteristic of objects designed to outlast fashion. Seventeen centimetres of polished metal that reflect the light on the table with absolute discretion. Ettore Sottsass - visionary genius of Italian design, founder of the Memphis movement, architect of the contemporary imagination - designed this cutlery collection together with Alberto Gozzi in a rare foray into the realm of formal everyday life. Nuovo Milano was created as a complete cutlery system for Alessi, conceived to reinterpret the Italian tradition with a perspective that is both classic and subtly radical. The form does not shout, it whispers. And it is precisely in this formal restraint that its most authentic charm lies. At Stilmobili, we chose Nuovo Milano because it embodies exactly the kind of beauty we believe in: one that does not end with the first impression, but grows through everyday use. It is the ideal cutlery for those who set a table with the same care they devote to choosing a work of art, for those who consider Sunday lunch a ritual worthy of thoughtful design. A piece that becomes part of the family and never leaves. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel fruit fork, length 17 cm. Net weight 49 g.
