Alessi — Nuovo Milano 5180/26 | Sottsass 18/10 flat spoon

There is an almost philosophical purity in the flat spoon from the Nuovo Milano series: the profile extends into a line that leaves nothing to excess, yet carries an unmistakable human warmth. The 18/10 stainless steel returns a polished, almost mirror-like surface to the light, transforming the most everyday gesture - bringing food to the mouth - into a small act of aesthetic awareness. Nuovo Milano was born from the collaboration between Ettore Sottsass and Alberto Gozzi, two design minds who share the ability to listen to the material before shaping it. Sottsass, an essential figure in twentieth-century Italian design - founder of Memphis and creator of objects that redefined the relationship between function and visual language - brings to this flatware his ability to find the essential without ever falling into austerity. The result is a service that belongs to the Milanese tradition of good design: rigorous, understated, durable. At Stilmobili, we chose Nuovo Milano because it embodies exactly what we seek in the objects we bring into our clients' homes: quality that does not announce itself, but is perceived. It is the ideal flatware for those who want to set the table intelligently, for those who enjoy entertaining without ostentation, and for those who consider the table a space for care rather than display. A purchase that, over time, increasingly reveals its value. Project notes: code 5180/26, flat spoon, 18/10 stainless steel, length 18 cm, weight 65 g.
