Alessi — Nuovo Milano 5180/14 | Sottsass 18/10 salad servers

There is an almost musical precision in the way Nuovo Milano cutlery rests between the fingers. 18/10 stainless steel - a noble alloy par excellence, capable of capturing light and returning it with an unfailing lustre - becomes here a material shaped with rigor and grace. The twenty-six-centimetre length gives the salad cutlery an authoritative presence at the table, balancing proportions and weight with the naturalness that only great design can produce. Nuovo Milano was born from the pencil of Ettore Sottsass, a towering figure in 20th-century Italian design, co-founder of Memphis and tireless interpreter of a modernity always balanced between irony and depth. Developed together with Alberto Gozzi for Alessi, the project is part of a reflection on tableware as a coherent system - not a simple accessory, but a language. Sottsass translates his vision into every element: clean forms, free of ornamental rhetoric, that do not seek attention but earn it through restraint. At Stilmobili, we chose Nuovo Milano because it embodies exactly what we seek in every object that enters our selection: the ability to inhabit the table with both discretion and character. It is the ideal complement for those who set the table as they would develop an interior design project - with consistency, culture, and without ostentation. Perfect for a home that already knows what it wants. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel material, length 26 cm, weight 305 g, Alessi Palinsesto spring/summer collection.
