Neko was created through a collaboration between Alessi and SANAA, the studio founded by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryūe Nishizawa, one of the most influential contemporary architecture firms - winners of the 2010 Pritzker Prize, the same year this watch entered the Alessi catalog. SANAA brings to the everyday object the same philosophy that infuses their buildings: reduction as a form of precision, lightness as a design ethic.
