Alessi — Momento 11 BB | Black Aldo Rossi wall clock

A black circle suspended on the wall. Momento is first and foremost a presence: round, silent, absolute. The 18/10 stainless steel dial, coated with deep black epoxy resin, has the composure of an object that needs no explanation. Forty centimeters in diameter that mark time with the same gravity with which architecture occupies space. The treated surface absorbs light without reflecting it, matte and definitive like a choice. Aldo Rossi - architect, theorist, master of urban memory - brought to this clock the same elementary geometry that inhabited his buildings and drawings. Momento was born from the collaboration between Rossi and Alessi in the wake of the great era of Italian design: a time when an everyday object could, without contradiction, also be a cultural manifesto. The circular form, chromatic rigor, and absence of superfluous ornament reflect Rossi's poetic vision of architecture as collective memory, distilled here on a domestic scale. We at Stilmobili chose Momento because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that do not grow old because they do not chase trends, but precede them. It is the ideal complement for a professional office, a contemporary living room, or any setting in which good taste is expressed through restraint rather than accumulation. A gift of rare relevance for those who love architecture, auteur design, or simply well-measured time.
