Alessi — Moka | Mendini Design Coffee Maker

Alessi Moka - The Coffee Ritual Elevated into Form

There is a moment in the day when everything stops: when the moka pot rises, the aroma spreads, and time slows down. Alessi's Espresso Moka Coffee Maker was created to inhabit precisely that moment, transforming an everyday gesture into something visually memorable. Alessandro Mendini reinterpreted the classic silhouette of the 1930s moka pot, softening its contours and giving a sinuous shape to the vertical taper everyone recognizes, creating an object worth keeping on the counter even when the coffee is already ready.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on the shores of Lake Orta as a craft workshop, and since then it has made collaboration with the great masters of design its distinctive hallmark. This moka pot bears the signature of Alessandro Mendini - one of the most authoritative voices in Italian design - and is the perfect example of how Alessi can transform a functional object into a piece of material culture. Cast aluminum ensures precise, even heat distribution, while the ergonomic thermoplastic resin handle provides a secure grip even when the coffee maker is hot.
