Alessi MMI31SET - Three Tools, One Ritual

Cooking pasta is an ancient, everyday, almost automatic gesture. The Alessi&Pasta set transforms it into something more mindful: each tool stems from a reflection on design applied to everyday objects, bringing the same formal care reserved for the home's most representative spaces into the kitchen.

The Alessi&Pasta Project

The set is the result of collective research by Miriam Mirri, Alejandro Ruiz, CSA, LPWK and Paolo Gerosa - a group of designers who have reinterpreted three fundamental tools from the Italian tradition with a delicate, contemporary design. The Voile spaghetti measurer measures spaghetti with geometric elegance; Vabene is the pasta tester designed for the most convivial moment of cooking; Parmenide is the grater, an explicit tribute to the cheese that completes the dish. Together, they form a coherent system in 18/10 stainless steel and thermoplastic resin: durable materials chosen also for their pleasant tactile quality in everyday use.
