Alessi — MiòJar AMMI22 B | Cat container in glass and black resin

There is a certain grace in caring for those we love, even when it comes to a cat with an inscrutable character. MiòJar is a transparent glass food container, closed with a black thermoplastic resin lid: an object that brings the same visual and material quality reserved for the rest of the furnishings to the corner of the kitchen reserved for the household feline. Its clean, no-frills cylindrical form engages with the lightness of the glass and the visual weight of the lid’s matte black finish, creating a restrained, contemporary balance. MiòJar was created by Miriam Mirri, a Roman designer and one of the most original figures on the Italian design scene, known for her ability to move effortlessly between irony and formal rigor. The piece is part of the **A di Alessi** collection, the project through which Fabbrica di Oggetti reflects on what it means today to bring good design into everyday life in all its facets - including the more unexpected ones, such as the cat’s bowl. A design gesture that transforms a functional accessory into a small domestic manifesto. At Stilmobili, we chose MiòJar because it represents exactly the kind of object we believe in: one that needs no justification, that inhabits a space naturally and coherently. It is designed for those who have chosen to furnish every centimeter of their home with care and do not intend to make exceptions even for the corners dedicated to their animal companions. A refined gift for a cat lover with taste, or a furnishing accessory that simply makes sense to keep on display. Project notes: capacity 150 cl, diameter 10.5 cm, height 27 cm. Glass body, black thermoplastic resin lid. A di Alessi collection, fall/winter season.
