Alessi — Minou FGO01 | Polished steel table bag hook

There is a small elegance in the gesture of putting down a handbag. Minou transforms it into a ritual: a polished 18/10 stainless steel table hook, designed to keep the bag suspended from any surface - a restaurant table, an office desk, a bar counter. The mirror-polished surface discreetly reflects the surrounding environment, while the compact, balanced shape ensures that the weight of the bag itself becomes the force that stabilizes the hook. A simple, almost obvious mechanical principle, yet one capable of surprising. Minou was created by Frédéric Gooris, a Belgian designer who has built his practice around everyday objects and their ability to interact with the body and our habits. His approach is that of someone who observes the gesture before designing the form: the result is an accessory that disappears in use, but which - precisely for this reason - becomes indispensable. Alessi includes it in the "On The Go" collection, dedicated to companion objects, those that travel with us and adapt to the most diverse settings. We at Stilmobili chose it because it perfectly embodies that category of objects that the great tradition of Italian and international design knows how to enhance better than anyone else: the small instrument of everyday civility. Minou is the ideal gift for those who have everything, or almost everything - and appreciate that someone thought of this too. It is designed for those who never separate aesthetic care from functionality, not even when away from home. Design notes: Polished 18/10 stainless steel. Dimensions 10.6 × 6 cm. Weight 95 g.
