Alessi — MG32 MG32TC B | Michael Graves electric kettle, black

Black as ink on luxury paper, the MG32 kettle commands attention in the kitchen with the naturalness of an object that needs no explanation. 18/10 stainless steel — worked and finished according to Crusinallo's manufacturing tradition — takes the form here of a compact and harmonious body, whose dark coloring returns a matte and sophisticated reflection of light. The handle and base in thermoplastic resin, also black, complete a silhouette with no aesthetic compromises: every element interacts with the others in a balance that is never cold, never sterile. Michael Graves — an American architect and designer among the most influential figures of Postmodernism — left some of the most recognizable marks in the history of home design at Alessi. From the celebrated 9093 kettle with its bird-shaped whistle, Graves established a long and fruitful relationship with the Italian manufacturer, capable of transforming everyday objects into small monuments of design. The MG32 belongs to this legacy: rational in function, authoritative in presence. Temperature control — a function rarely so discreet in an object of this class — is integrated here with elegance, without compromising the product's formal purity. We chose it for those who accept no compromises between performance and beauty, for those who build their kitchen as they would furnish a living room: with discernment, vision, and care for details that no guest will consciously notice, but everyone will perceive. Project notes: 1.5-liter capacity, 220–240V~ 50/60Hz power supply, 1750–2100W power, European plug. Compact dimensions — 27×27×27 cm — for a striking presence inversely proportional to its footprint.
