Alessi — Menhir MA01/6 | Anastassiades espresso coffee maker, 6 cups

There is something primordial about the Menhir's silhouette. Michael Anastassiades' espresso coffee maker rises with the composure of a monolith, vertical and silent, as if the morning coffee ritual deserved a form capable of standing beside it for generations. The polished 18/10 stainless steel reflects the light without seeking it, while the Burgundy thermoplastic resin handle introduces a note of chromatic warmth - a deep, almost wine-red tone that interrupts the metallic rigor with the discretion of one who knows when to speak. Michael Anastassiades, a Cypriot designer with a studio in London, is known for a formal language that transforms everyday objects into architectural presences. With the Menhir - a title that evokes the stones driven into the ground by megalithic civilizations - he brings the same poetic tension that distinguishes his light installations into the kitchen: form reduced to its essentials, material becoming gesture. The design was created within the Alessi collection as a reflection on the ritual of coffee as an almost sacred domestic act. At Stilmobili, we chose the Menhir because it condenses everything we look for into a single object: rigorous design, Italian manufacturing quality, and an unmistakable visual identity. It is the coffee maker for those who do not like concessions, for those who consider the kitchen a place for thought as well as preparation. It works on every cooktop thanks to its magnetic steel base compatible with induction, and the included reducer filter also allows you to prepare just three cups, without waste or compromise. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, Burgundy handle, magnetic induction-compatible base. Capacity: 6 cups (30 cl), with a reducer filter included for 3 cups. Dimensions: 8.5 × 15 × 21.5 cm, net weight 1.5 kg.
