Alessi — Mediterraneo ESI16SET | Salad servers in polished stainless steel

There is something ancient and at the same time thoroughly modern about the act of serving salad. A convivial ritual that calls for tools equal to the occasion: capable of piercing the air gracefully, gathering and serving with precision. Alessi's Mediterraneo cutlery - a serving spoon and fork in mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel - answers this call with a simplicity that never gives up elegance. The length of 27.5 centimetres lends the gesture a certain natural theatricality, while the polished finish reflects the light on the table as the sea does in quiet hours. The design bears the signature of LPWK and Emma Silvestris, a collaboration that follows Alessi's tradition of involving design voices capable of combining formal rigour with poetic sensitivity. The chosen name - Mediterraneo - is no coincidence: it evokes the culture of shared food, of the table as a place of encounter and unhurried time, which spans centuries of civilisation and continues to define a way of being together that Northern Europe regards with nostalgia and admiration. At Stilmobili, we chose Mediterraneo because it represents exactly what we look for in every object we bring into our shop: the ability to elevate the everyday without making it seem like an effort. It is the ideal gift for those who love to host thoughtfully, for those who arrange the table as they would compose a space, and for those who know that even a salad fork can become a small act of style.
