Alessi — Mediterraneo ESI01/25 | 18/10 stainless steel fruit bowl

There is something both ancient and thoroughly modern about Alessi's Mediterraneo: an 18/10 stainless steel fruit bowl with a generous diameter of 25 centimeters, capable of gathering within itself the echo of millennia-old traditions — the market, the season, the fruit picked at just the right moment — and returning them through the formal purity that only polished metal can provide. The reflective surface multiplies the colors of the fruit, transforming every spontaneous arrangement into an unintentional chromatic installation. An object that lives through time and changes with it. The design was created by LPWK — Emma Silvestris, a designer whose work brings a distinctive sensitivity to forms that engage with the collective memory of the Mediterranean: basins, bowls, votive containers reinterpreted through the industrial rigor of large-scale Italian manufacturing. The fruit bowl belongs to the Alessi Palinsesto autumn/winter collection, one chapter in a broader story in which everyday domestic life is elevated into a cultural gesture. At Stilmobili, we chose the Mediterraneo because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects that are not limited to being functional, but inhabit a space with presence and meaning. It is the ideal centerpiece for those who want their kitchen or dining room to speak of authentic taste, without ostentation. Perfect in a contemporary loft as well as on a stone table in a country house — because good design knows no exclusive style, only settings that bring out its qualities. Design notes: 18/10 stainless steel, diameter 25 cm, height 9 cm. Net weight 940 g. Dishwasher-safe. Made by Alessi, Italy.
