The ESI01/25 fruit bowl presents itself as a pure volume - a steel disk with skillfully raised edges, coated in epoxy resin in a hue that is unafraid to be seen. Disciplined by the colored finish, the metal acquires an unexpected visual lightness: the weight of the material dissolves into the vibrancy of the color, and the result is an object that seems almost to float on the surface where it is placed. Behind the Mediterraneo is the signature of LPWK – Emma Silvestris, a designer who, through her dialogue with Alessi, has succeeded in translating a Mediterranean intuition into a contemporary form. The fruit bowl belongs to the permanent Alessi collection and fits into the autumn-winter lineup as a chromatic response to the season: not the gray or ochre of repose, but a red that brightens the center of the table precisely when natural light becomes scarcer.
