Alessi — Mediterraneo ESI01/21 R | Red steel fruit bowl

There is something immediately vibrant about the red of Mediterraneo. Alessi's ESI01/21 R fruit bowl presents itself as an object capable of brightening a table with the same naturalness with which a poppy colors a field. Made of steel coated with epoxy resin, its surface is uniform, intense, materially rich - a red that does not shout but asserts itself, engaging with the fruit it holds and transforming the everyday act of filling a bowl into a small act of composition. The project bears the signature of the LPWK duo, represented by Emma Silvestris, a designer who moves effortlessly between the tradition of Italian manufacturing and a contemporary formal vocabulary. The Mediterraneo collection is part of Alessi's journey - the "dream factory" of Crusinallo - to give poetic form to everyday objects, making daily life a realm of accessible beauty. The generous 21-centimeter diameter ensures a striking presence on the table without ever becoming cumbersome. At Stilmobili, we chose Mediterranean red because it perfectly captures what we look for in the objects we select: function and character in perfect balance. It is the right choice for anyone who wants even a fruit bowl to tell a story - an attitude toward beauty, a sense of color, a particular idea of home. Ideal as a standalone piece or arranged with other elements from the same line, it works equally well in contemporary interiors and in kitchens with a warmer, more Mediterranean feel.
