Alessi — Maya 7320/25GRP | Steel round basket Greenpurple

Maya is an object that plays with light. The round stainless steel basket is coated with an iridescent resin that, in the Greenpurple version, shifts between green and purple depending on the angle, time of day, and mood of the person looking at it. This is not merely a decorative effect: it is the very reason for the object, its most authentic identity. With its twenty-five-centimeter diameter, Maya can occupy the center of a table or sideboard discreetly and, at the same time, with a chromatic presence that captures attention. The design bears the signature of Giulio Confalonieri, a Milanese designer with a long-standing collaboration with Alessi, equally at ease with irony and formal rigor. In Maya, Confalonieri entrusts the entire poetic expression of the piece to its surface: the form is essential, almost neutral, allowing the material to speak. The iridescent resin transforms a functional object into something closer to a small domestic sculpture. At Stilmobili, we chose Maya because it perfectly represents that border area - typically Alessi-like - between functional design and aesthetic research. It is the ideal gift for those who love contemporary style without excess, and for those looking for a piece capable of surprising them every time the light changes. It fits naturally into minimalist settings as well as more eclectic interiors. Project notes: diameter 25 cm, height 10 cm. Stainless steel with an iridescent resin coating in a Greenpurple effect. Alessi collection, spring/summer range. End-of-line piece - limited availability.
