Alessi — Mami SG53/88 | Porcelain filter coffee cup saucer

There is a quiet grace in white porcelain when it is designed with the right measure. Alessi's Mami saucer - 13 centimeters in diameter, almost imperceptible in weight - is the detail that completes the ritual of filter coffee with a formal coherence rarely found on a set table. The smooth surface, the absolute white, the shape that naturally connects cup and table: everything speaks of a design attentive to the everyday gesture as much as to the overall aesthetic. Mami is one of the most beloved and enduring collections designed by Stefano Giovannoni for Alessi. Giovannoni - a Florentine architect and designer, among the most influential of his generation, who was already a leading figure in that golden period when Alessi opened its doors to the pop and organic languages of the 1990s - created with Mami a tableware collection that looks at tradition with affection, without ever slipping into nostalgia. The rounded, enveloping forms, the pure white porcelain, the coherence of the system: every piece seems designed to go together, to last, to be passed down. At Stilmobili, we chose the Mami collection because it represents exactly what we seek: accessible designer design for everyday life, capable of elevating even the simplest convivial moment. The SG53/88 saucer is ideal for those who want to build an elegant table piece by piece, or for those looking for a refined and durable gift, far removed from the ephemeral. Project notes: white porcelain, 13 cm diameter, part of the Mami system, coordinated with the entire Giovannoni line for Alessi. Collection available year-round, with an emphasis on the spring-summer season.
