Alessi — Mami SG53/87 | Porcelain filter coffee cup

There is something immediately familiar about the Mami cup, as if the memory of mornings at home had crystallized into a shape. The white porcelain - pure, smooth, silent - retains the warmth of filtered coffee with the discreet grace of objects designed to last. The profile is generous and the grip is secure: a 20-centiliter capacity that invites an unhurried breakfast. Mami was created by Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most prolific and recognizable Tuscan designers in Alessi's recent history. The collection, which bears the quintessentially affectionate and domestic name, is a tribute to the Italian table in its most complete form: coordinated, harmonious, and capable of transforming the everyday meal into a small act of care. Giovannoni has worked with Alessi since the 1990s, and in Mami he found the balance between the classicism of the form and contemporary lightness, creating a system of pieces - plates, cups, bowls - that interact naturally with one another. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that belong on the table without imposing themselves, adding quality to everyday gestures without requiring special occasions. It is the ideal cup for those who love to set the table coherently, and for those who want to build a complete tableware collection around a recognizable aesthetic design. Design notes: white porcelain, capacity 20 cl, diameter 8 cm. Part of the Mami tableware set, compatible with the entire SG53 line. Alessi collection for the spring-summer range.
