Alessi — Mami SG38/16 | 18/10 steel dessert fork

There is something intrinsically homely yet refined about the Mami dessert fork: an object designed for the sweetest moments at the table, when the meal slows down and conviviality becomes pure pleasure. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, it offers the hand a soft sheen and understated solidity, while the handle's profile - rounded, almost maternal in its softness - immediately conveys the character of this collection. Mami was created by Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most prolific and recognizable Tuscan designers in the contemporary design landscape, capable of translating an almost poetic sensitivity toward everyday objects into industrial forms. The Mami collection - its name explicitly evokes warmth, care, and familiarity - represents one of the most complete and coherent projects ever developed for Alessi: an entire tableware universe that extends from cutlery to ceramics, expressed with that rare ability to be both contemporary and timeless. The handle's design, with its organic curves and central bulge, is immediately recognizable and withstands the passing seasons with elegance. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects with a story to tell, and a form that justifies its presence on the table. It is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to build a complete cutlery set with a distinct identity, or for those who wish to enrich an existing table setting with pieces of authentic Italian design culture. Project notes: dessert fork, length 16.5 cm, 18/10 stainless steel. Part of the extensive Mami collection designed by Stefano Giovannoni for Alessi.
