Alessi — Mami SG200/28 | 18/10 stainless steel lid Ø 28 cm

There is a geometry of care in every gesture that belongs to the kitchen. The Alessi Mami lid - 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish, twenty-eight centimeters in diameter - is a quiet and precise embodiment of it. Its surface reflects the kitchen light like a convex mirror, returning the world upside down and magnified: a small domestic theater in which the everyday acquires formal dignity. The soft dome, the ergonomic knob, the rim designed to rest precisely on the edge of the pot: everything contributes to a tactile experience that transcends mere function. Mami was created by Stefano Giovannoni, a Tuscan designer who is one of the most recognizable figures on the international design scene, capable of approaching everyday objects with a lightness that is never superficial. Presented as part of the Alessi project devoted to the great tradition of Italian cuisine, the Mami collection pays tribute to the archetypal forms of European cookware - those that inhabit the collective memory even before appearing in a company's catalogue. Giovannoni reinterprets them with his customary attention to curves, sensation, and the visual pleasure that comes before use. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it represents exactly the kind of object we believe in: one that is not content merely to function, but aspires to be recognizable, desired, and passed down. It is the ideal lid for those who have already invested in the right pot and want to complete the set with absolute aesthetic coherence, or for those seeking a replacement worthy of a kitchen designed down to the finest detail. Project notes: Mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel. Diameter 28 cm, height 6 cm. Compatible with cookware from the Mami line. Net weight 650 g. Alessi spring/summer collection.
