Alessi — Mami SG105/16 | 18/10 stainless steel saucepan

There is something deeply familiar in Mami's silhouette: the curve of the handle extending confidently, the polished belly of the saucepan catching and reflecting the kitchen light like a water mirror. Made of mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel, this 1.6-litre long-handled saucepan belongs to that rare category of objects in which formal perfection and everyday purpose meet without compromise. Its magnetic steel base makes it compatible with any cooktop, including induction - without this technical necessity leaving the slightest mark on the elegance of the whole. Mami was born from the mind of Stefano Giovannoni, a Genoese designer among the most recognisable in Alessi's recent history, capable of transforming every everyday object into a small narrative act. The Mami collection - whose name explicitly evokes the maternal figure and the ritual of food as an act of love - is one of the most complex and enduring projects in the Alessi universe: a complete service that redesigns the entire grammar of cookware, giving it stylistic unity and a visual coherence rarely found in this segment. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it represents exactly what we are looking for: objects that do not ask to be hidden, but displayed. It is designed for those who consider the kitchen a space for design - not a domestic backdrop - and for those who want every cooking gesture, even the simplest, to take place within a beautiful form. Project notes: diameter 17 cm, capacity 1.6 litres, dimensions with handle 32 × 17 × 9.2 cm. Dishwasher safe. Suitable for all cooktops, including induction.
