Alessi — Mami SG102/28 | Low 18/10 steel saucepan

There is something deeply familiar about the shape of the Mami saucepan: a silhouette that seems always to have existed in the kitchens of Italian homes, yet reveals, upon closer inspection, a thoroughly contemporary elegance. The polished 18/10 stainless steel surface catches the light and reflects the movement of the person cooking, while the two ergonomic handles declare their everyday purpose from the very first touch. With its 28-centimeter diameter and low, generous shape - offering almost four and a half liters of capacity - this saucepan is designed for preparations that require space, control, and presence. Mami was born from the drawing board of Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most recognizable Florentine designers of his generation, capable of bringing a narrative and almost anthropomorphic sensibility to Alessi. The project - whose name explicitly evokes the maternal figure, nourishment, and care - is one of the most complete and coherent cookware families ever produced by the Crusinallo factory. Giovannoni envisioned a line in which design would never be decoration layered onto function, but rather its most direct and sincere expression. We chose Mami for Stilmobili because it embodies exactly what we are looking for: objects that inhabit the home with discretion and character, equally suited to a designer kitchen and a carefully set table. The magnetic steel base makes it compatible with every type of cooktop, including induction, without aesthetic compromises. It is the ideal gift for anyone who considers cooking an act of love, not merely a necessity. Project notes: Polished 18/10 stainless steel. Diameter 28 cm, height 8.3 cm. Induction-compatible. Capacity 4.6 liters. Designed by Stefano Giovannoni for Alessi.
