Alessi — Mami SG100/24 | Polished 18/10 stainless steel pot

There is something deeply familiar about Mami's shape, as if the design had drawn on a collective memory of Italian cooking - the real kind, with burners lit, steam rising and the reassuring weight of a lidded pot settling into place. The SG100/24 pot is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a polished, mirror-like finish, capable of reflecting the kitchen light as effortlessly as it finds its place on a carefully set table. The proportions are generous - 27 cm in diameter and a 10-liter capacity - and the magnetic steel base ensures even heat distribution and compatibility with every type of cooktop, including induction. Mami was created by Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most recognizable Tuscan designers in contemporary design and the creator of some of Alessi's most beloved icons. The collection, introduced in the early 2000s, embodies a precise idea: restoring the pot's aesthetic dignity without betraying its practical purpose. The soft shapes, enveloping handles and silhouette reminiscent of certain grandmother's objects reinterpreted in a contemporary style - all contribute to creating an object that knows how to exist in the world with understated elegance. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it perfectly represents that borderline area we are passionate about: where design stops being decoration and becomes an everyday experience. It is the ideal pot for those who do not separate cooking from aesthetics, for those who want every gesture - even the most ordinary - to be supported by an object conceived with intelligence and beauty.
