Alessi — Mami SG100/20 | 18/10 stainless steel pot Giovannoni

There is something deeply familiar in Mami's profile: a roundness reminiscent of the pots of the past, those from large, bustling kitchens, yet transformed into something precise, almost sculptural. The polished 18/10 stainless steel reflects light discreetly; the surfaces are soft to the touch yet rigorous in their geometry. With its 5.6-liter capacity and a diameter of 22.5 cm, it is a pot that occupies space confidently without ever becoming cumbersome. The Mami collection was born from the mind of Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most recognizable designers on the contemporary Italian scene, capable of moving naturally between pop irony and formal rigor. With Mami, Giovannoni designs an entire kitchen universe for Alessi that reinterprets the classic through a modern sensibility: each piece is designed to work together, yet stands beautifully on its own. The magnetic steel base ensures compatibility with induction cooktops without sacrificing the project's overall elegance. At Stilmobili, we chose Mami because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that know how to be beautiful even when they are not in use, and impeccable when they truly are. It is the right pot for those who love to cook with care, for those who consider the kitchen a design space just as much as the living room, and for those who want every detail - even the one hidden beneath a lid - to have a story to tell.
