Why we chose them for you

The Palle Presepe were created as part of a project by painter and artist Marcello Jori for Alessi - the Italian company founded in 1921 on Lake Orta, a longstanding laboratory for research between design and applied arts. The idea is to rethink the boundary between the nativity scene and the tree, between religious tradition and home decoration: each sphere can adorn a chandelier, a bookcase, or a ribbon hanging from a window, without being limited to the branches of the fir tree. A different way to experience Christmas that does not give up the depth of the gesture.
