Alessi — Lunar Eclipse 505 | Sottsass mixology set in steel

There is something ritualistic about the art of cocktails, an ancient gesture that calls for tools worthy of its ceremony. Lunar Eclipse - a name that already evokes luminous darkness, the contrast between light and shadow - is an 18/10 stainless steel mixology set consisting of an American Boston shaker, bar strainer, stirrer, and measuring jigger. Each piece responds to the hand with the quiet solidity of quality metal, cool to the touch, precise in use, elegant in the silence of the bar counter. The design bears the signature of Ettore Sottsass, a towering figure in 20th-century Italian design, developed in collaboration with Alberto Gozzi. Sottsass - founder of Memphis and creator of objects that redrew the boundary between design and art - also brings to this set his ability to transform a utensil into a presence. It is not simply a tool: it is an object that occupies space with intention, conveying a vision of the world through its form. Lunar Eclipse belongs to the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection, designed for those who inhabit interiors with aesthetic awareness. We at Stilmobili chose it because it perfectly embodies what we look for: the meeting point between impeccable function and design culture. It is the ideal gift for those who love mixing in style, for the design collector who does not want to sacrifice use for contemplation, and for those who set up a home bar with the same care they use when choosing a sofa or a work of art. Project notes: the set includes a Boston shaker, strainer, stirrer, and measuring jigger. 18/10 stainless steel. Net weight 1.236 kg.
