Alessi — L'Or Barista LM9014/W | De Lucchi capsule coffee machine

There is something reassuring about its silhouette: compact, white, almost sculptural. L'Or Barista by Alessi does not merely occupy the countertop - it inhabits and enhances it. Thermoplastic resin covers the body with a matte, dry surface, while stainless steel introduces that note of industrial rigor that has always characterized the language of the Italian Factory. In its white coloring, the capsule coffee machine engages with the kitchen light with elegant discretion, never yielding to anonymity. The project was designed by Michele De Lucchi, a central figure in contemporary and postmodern Italian design, who was already a leading member of the Memphis group in the 1980s and later became the creator of internationally acclaimed architecture, objects and installations. With L'Or Barista, De Lucchi brings his formal sensibility - defined by essential volumes and calibrated proportions - into an everyday appliance, carrying out that typically Alessi operation: transforming an ordinary gesture into an aesthetic experience. The project originated from a collaboration between Alessi and the L'Or system, an established name in the world of high-quality capsule coffee. At Stilmobili, we chose this object because it coherently expresses our idea of the kitchen: a space where function and form do not exclude each other, but enhance one another. It is the ideal gift for those who love auteur design without giving up everyday practicality, for those who furnish a kitchen with care, and for those who consider the coffee machine part of a thoughtful interior design project.
