Alessi — Lilliput ASG02 BW | Salt and pepper set in resin and steel

Two small creatures face each other on the table: one black, one white, mirroring each other in a motionless dance that speaks of balance and contrast. Lilliput is a salt and pepper set that transforms the everyday act of seasoning into a small aesthetic ritual. Made of thermoplastic resin in contrasting black and white, it rests on a polished 18/10 stainless steel base that highlights its dedication to refined detail. The rounded, almost anthropomorphic forms exude a quiet charm that never gives way to decoration for its own sake. Stefano Giovannoni is one of the designers best able to inhabit that subtle space where design meets storytelling, where an object ceases to be merely useful and becomes a bearer of personality. Lilliput belongs to the "A di Alessi" collection, a catalog of pieces designed to be accessible without sacrificing design identity. In Giovannoni's work, the reference to Swift's land of little people is no coincidence: there is something fairytale-like, miniature, and precise at the same time in these two dispensers, which seem to converse with each other. We at Stilmobili chose it because it perfectly embodies the philosophy we value most: an object's ability to change the atmosphere of a table without imposing itself. It is ideal for those looking for an original and tasteful gift, for anyone wanting to enrich a kitchen or dining room with a touch of cultured irony, and for those who can recognize the difference between an ornament and an object that is truly lived with. Design notes: height 14.5 cm, diameter 11 cm. Weight 220 g. Two-tone thermoplastic resin, polished 18/10 stainless steel base. A di Alessi collection, autumn/winter program.
