The 90200/24 L lid from *La Cintura di Orione* is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish on both surfaces - inside and out - and embodies that quiet quality of great objects: it does not impose itself, but it is not forgotten. Its 24 cm diameter makes it suitable for the pots in the same series, with which it forms a system of rare formal and functional coherence. *La Cintura di Orione* was created through a collaboration between Richard Sapper and Alberto Gozzi, published under the aegis of Officina Alessi - the design workshop where Alessi has always welcomed the great names of international design to challenge the boundaries between industry and craftsmanship, between technology and poetry. Sapper, a designer of German origin trained in Italy and celebrated for his work with IBM and Artemide, brings his rigorous, engineering-based vision of form to this series, tempered by Gozzi's Mediterranean sensibility. The result is a line of cookware that redefined the concept of professional cooking for home use. We chose it for those who see the kitchen as an extension of their designed space: not a hidden accessory, but an object that deserves to be on display. *La Cintura di Orione* is intended for those who do not separate the quality of living from the quality of cooking, who apply the same rigor to choosing a lid as they do to selecting an Eames chair or a Castiglioni lamp.
