The trilaminate construction - AISI 430 magnetic steel, an aluminum core, and 18/10 stainless steel on the surface - ensures even heat distribution and a thermal response that can be felt in the way the food changes inside it. The project was born from the extraordinary collaboration between Richard Sapper, one of the most rigorous masters of twentieth-century German-Italian industrial design, product designer Alberto Gozzi, and the great chef Gualtiero Marchesi. A rare dialogue between those who design objects, those who manufacture them, and those who actually use them - in the kitchen, with their hands, every day. Sapper, renowned for the functional radicalism applied to Alessi objects, brought to this set the same intellectual rigor he had devoted to the *9090* coffee maker and the *9091* kettle: no ornament that is not already structure, no form that does not justify itself.
