Alessi — La Cintura di Orione 90100/24 T | 24 cm trilaminated pot

There is something cosmic about the name chosen for this pot, and it was not chosen by chance. La Cintura di Orione inhabits the boundary between cuisine and material culture: a trilaminated pot - AISI 430 stainless steel, an aluminum core, and an 18/10 stainless steel interior - that conducts heat with the precision of a scientific instrument and the grace of a collector's piece. Its 24 cm diameter and 10-liter capacity make it a credible protagonist both on the stovetop and at the table, while the magnetic base ensures full compatibility with induction cooktops. This project bears the signature of Richard Sapper, one of the undisputed masters of twentieth-century European industrial design, joined on this occasion by Alberto Gozzi for the technical research and Gualtiero Marchesi - the father of the nouvelle Italian cuisine - for the gastronomic vision. This rare and valuable collaboration gave rise to a collection in which aesthetics and function question one another: every element of the pot is the result of a dialogue between those who design it, manufacture it, and use it to cook in earnest. We chose La Cintura di Orione because it perfectly represents what we look for when selecting a piece for Stilmobili: objects that do not merely perform a task, but transform that task into a conscious gesture. It is the ideal pot for those with a carefully designed kitchen, for the passionate cook who considers tools an extension of their sensibility, and for anyone who wants to bring to the table a piece that tells a story. Project notes: three-layer trilaminated body with even heat distribution; suitable for gas, electric, ceramic glass, and induction cooktops; dimensions 31 × 24 × 22 cm; net weight 2.954 kg.
