Alessi — Kuru Kuru ITM11 CU | Copper-plated stainless steel carafe

There is something hypnotic about the copper covering the surface of Kuru Kuru: a warm, shifting light that transforms a simple carafe into an object to contemplate. The 18/10 stainless steel, spun on a lathe from sheet metal with almost obsessive precision, takes on a metallic, sensorial aura through the PVD coating, suspended between the craftsmanship of a workshop and the controlled coolness of industry. It has the right weight in the hand, the kind that inspires confidence. On the table, it reflects the light as if it were always in motion. Kuru Kuru - which in Japanese evokes the idea of spinning and twirling - was created by Naoto Fukasawa, master of quiet, essential design. Fukasawa is one of the few contemporary designers capable of removing without impoverishing, reducing form to its essence without losing human warmth. The carafe is part of the *Il Tornitore Matto* collection, Alessi's tribute to the tradition of metal turning, whose roots run deep in the Ossola Valley: a region, a technique, and a manufacturing identity that Alessi has transformed into industrial poetry. We chose Kuru Kuru because it perfectly embodies the boundary where Stilmobili loves to move: where an everyday object becomes an object of desire. It is designed for those who set the table with intention, for those who consider the water carafe not an accessory detail but the quiet center of a thoughtfully composed table setting. The copper coating makes it perfect for spaces that mix warm materials with contemporary surfaces - wood, stone, polished concrete. Project notes: height 22.3 cm, diameter 10 cm, weight 580 g. 18/10 stainless steel spun on a lathe, copper PVD finish. Il Tornitore Matto collection, fall/winter season.
