Alessi — KnifeForkSpoon AJM22/16 | 18/10 steel dessert fork

There is a quiet perfection in Alessi's KnifeForkSpoon dessert fork: that of an object that does not demand attention, yet earns it. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, it carries the understated sheen of precisely worked metal, a weight calibrated between the fingers, and a balance perceived even before it is used. Its seventeen centimeters trace an exact proportion - neither too much nor too little - as only a designer of rare formal discipline can achieve. That discipline belongs to Jasper Morrison, one of the most influential British designers of his generation, known for a philosophy he himself defined as "super normal": the attempt to restore everyday objects to their original dignity, freeing them from superfluous ornament. KnifeForkSpoon was created as part of Alessi's A collection, a cutlery system conceived as a complete grammar of the table - each piece consistent with the others, each form reduced to its purest essence. We chose this fork because it represents exactly what we believe in at Stilmobili: that quality design does not lie in a striking gesture, but in the care given to what we touch every day. It is the ideal piece of cutlery for those who set a table thoughtfully, and for those who recognize the difference between an object that has been thoughtfully designed and one that has simply been manufactured. It pairs naturally with contemporary tableware, while also complementing porcelain and crystal in a more classic style. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, length 17 cm, net weight 43 g. Part of the KnifeForkSpoon system, Alessi's A collection. Design by Jasper Morrison.
