Alessi — JM26 | Jasper Morrison ice bucket stand

There is an almost architectural composure to Alessi's JM26: a column in satin-finished 18/10 stainless steel that rises with the natural authority of someone who has nothing to prove. The 63-centimeter-high cylindrical body supports the cooler with an essential geometry that transforms a functional accessory into a furnishing element. The satin finish captures light diffusely, without excessive glare, conveying the tactile and visual quality characteristic of materials worked with restraint and awareness. Jasper Morrison is one of the most influential designers in contemporary European design: British by training, he builds his aesthetic around the concept of "Super Normal", that subtle space in which an object stops showing off and simply begins to be. The JM26 fully embodies this philosophy — it does not seek attention, yet it gets it. Morrison collaborates with Alessi, bringing a rare formal discipline to every project, capable of engaging with the Italian manufacturing tradition without ever overshadowing it. At Stilmobili, we chose the JM26 because it answers a precise question: how to make the ritual of wine worthy of a carefully set table. It is the ideal accessory for those who love entertaining in style, and for those who arrange a dining room or living space in which every detail is considered. It works beautifully in contemporary settings, yet it can also blend discreetly into more classic contexts thanks to the noble neutrality of satin-finished steel.
