Alessi — JM15/24 L | Jasper Morrison stainless steel salad bowl

There is a formal purity to the JM15/24 L salad bowl that reveals itself only when you look at it closely: no redundant details, no decorative gesture out of place. Just 18/10 stainless steel, polished into a shape that seems to have always existed, with a capacity of 230 cl and a diameter of 24 centimetres that make it the quiet protagonist of the table. The reflective surface captures the light in the room, transforming an everyday object into something worth looking at even when it is empty. Behind this project is Jasper Morrison, one of the most influential British designers of his generation and a key figure in the so-called "Super Normal" - that design philosophy which seeks perfection not through excess but through subtraction. Morrison has collaborated with Alessi, bringing a Northern European sensibility to the heart of Italian manufacturing, with results that sit halfway between a designer object and a timeless object, one you would want to have on your table forever. We at Stilmobili chose it because it precisely embodies what we seek in every piece in our selection: the ability to add visual and tactile quality to an ordinary gesture. It is designed for those who love to entertain in style without showing off, for those who recognize the value of a material treated with rigor, and for those who know that a well-set table is already a form of domestic art. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, diameter 24 cm, capacity 230 cl. Part of the Alessi collection designed by Jasper Morrison, included in the spring/summer lineup. Net weight 729 g.
