Alessi — JM01/23 T | Stainless steel container with raised decoration

There is a quiet quality to 18/10 stainless steel when it is crafted with care: it reflects light discreetly, almost velvety, and conveys a solidity to the touch that needs no announcement. Alessi's JM01/23 T container brings this material into dialogue with the raised decoration running across its surface, transforming an everyday object into a small exercise in style. With its twenty-three-centimetre diameter and capacity of over two litres, it lends itself to multiple uses - as a centrepiece, catch-all, compositional element on a sideboard or a shelf. The JM01 code belongs to a family of containers that Alessi developed within the tradition of its own manufacturing heritage, rooted in the Officina di Crusinallo and the metallurgical culture of Verbano. The raised finish recalls the trades of goldsmiths and European silverware production, reinterpreted in an industrial key with the precision that distinguishes Alessi production. The project, by an anonymous designer, lets the form speak for itself - without the signature of a famous author coming between the object and the person observing it. At Stilmobili, we chose the JM01/23 T because it embodies one of the convictions that guide our selection: domestic elegance does not need to be shouted about. It is the ideal piece for those who furnish spaces with attention to detail, those looking for a quality gift capable of lasting over time, or those who want to create a table - or a shelf - with objects that have a character of their own.
