Jak was created by Karim Rashid, the Egyptian-Canadian designer who has made color and biomorphic form his design manifesto. Rashid collaborated with Alessi, bringing his Pop and post-digital vision to the Crusinallo Factory, where everyday objects become icons and consumers become active protagonists in a visual narrative. Each of his pieces is conceived as a sensory experience before it is a functional object, and Jak is no exception: it is a watch, a jewel, a statement.
