Alessi — Itsumo NF08/54 | Yunoki porcelain bowl

There is something profoundly tranquil about Itsumo's white porcelain. The bowl - round, light, and with a generous diameter of fourteen centimeters - bears a decoration on its surface that seems drawn by water or wind: Samiro Yunoki's illustrations inhabit the ceramic with the suspended grace of a haiku, neither too present nor absent, as though they had always been there. The white of the porcelain is not neutral: it is chosen silence, the necessary backdrop for every mark to breathe. Itsumo was born from the meeting of two Japanese sensibilities that speak different languages yet understand each other deeply. Naoto Fukasawa - one of the most influential designers of the 21st century, theorist of "without-thought" design and creator of objects that seem to have always existed - designs the form with his customary quiet essentiality. Samiro Yunoki, a Japanese artist and illustrator with a long career in textile and graphic design, brings instead the warmth of the hand-drawn mark, a visual narrative that transforms the surface into a story. The result is a collection in which function and poetry do not contradict each other: they support one another. At Stilmobili, we chose Itsumo because it represents exactly that rare space where design meets the craftsmanship of everyday beauty. It is the bowl for those who want the table to have a voice of its own, for those who see setting the table as a conscious gesture rather than a habit. Ideal for breakfast, desserts, and the most carefully curated table settings: it works on its own and naturally complements the rest of the collection. Design notes: white porcelain, Samiro Yunoki decoration, diameter 14 cm, height 5.2 cm, capacity 48.5 cl. Alessi collection, spring/summer selection.
