Alessi — Itsumo NF08/38 NF08/38 20 | Yunoki porcelain salad bowl

There is something subtly hypnotic about the decoration enveloping this salad bowl: graphic marks that seem to have been born from a brush held back for a long time, then released with confidence. The porcelain is white, luminous, and of a quality without excess that can be recognized by touch before it is seen. Twenty centimeters in diameter, with a generous capacity of almost two liters - enough to hold a seasonal salad or a shared dessert, and enough to become the visual center of a carefully set table. The Itsumo project was born from the meeting of two profoundly different yet harmonious Japanese sensibilities. Naoto Fukasawa - one of the most influential contemporary designers, known for his ability to distill form down to its essence - conceived a tableware set in which the simplicity of porcelain becomes a surface for dialogue. The decoration is by Samiro Yunoki, a Japanese master of textile printing and refined illustrator, whose art carries the artisanal tradition of *katazome* and an unmistakable graphic style that is playful and precise at the same time. "Itsumo", in Japanese, means "always" - a name that suggests an elevated everyday life, rather than a special occasion. We chose this piece for Stilmobili because it perfectly embodies what we look for: objects that do more than simply serve, but inhabit the table with a presence of their own. It is ideal for those who love Oriental design in its most authentic sense, far from exotic imitation, and for those who want to create a table setting capable of telling a story even when it is empty. Project notes: white porcelain salad bowl with Samiro Yunoki decoration. Diameter 20 cm, height 10 cm, capacity 195 cl. Alessi collection, spring/summer range.
