Alessi — Itsumo NF08/22 NF08/22 25 | Yunoki porcelain oval plate

There is a precise serenity in Itsumo's white porcelain. The oval serving plate - 25 centimeters wide and just 2 deep - does not impose itself on the eye: it accompanies it. The surface is pure white, almost lunar, and on it Samiro Yunoki's decoration draws a world of its own: marks, motifs, and colors that seem to have emerged from a textile dream, from an ancient memory of Japan reinterpreted with a wholly contemporary graphic freedom. Holding it is already an aesthetic gesture. The project was born from the meeting of two Japanese sensibilities of rare depth: Naoto Fukasawa, one of the most influential designers of the 21st century, known for a vision of form that dissolves the object into its function until it becomes inevitable; and Samiro Yunoki, a textile master and illustrator whose work carries the chromatic lightness of traditional Japanese prints and the gentle irony of authorial graphics. The Itsumo collection - which in Japanese means "always", "as usual" - was born precisely from this dialogue: the form conceived by Fukasawa, the story entrusted to Yunoki. At Stilmobili, we chose Itsumo because it embodies exactly what we look for in tableware: not mere utility, but the ability to transform a meal into a small ceremony. It is the ideal plate for those who love setting the table with intention, who collect design as one collects art, and who wish to bring the spring season into their home with a discreet yet precise gesture. Project notes: white porcelain with Samiro Yunoki decoration, dimensions 25 × 17 × 2 cm, net weight 600 g. Alessi collection, spring/summer program. EAN code 8003299484911.
